SOS SUPPORT GROUP

Since the beginning of ACSC and SOS we have had many friends in the shag community diagnosed with some form of Cancer or other catastrophic illness such as a heart attack or stroke. Our fellow Shaggers need the support of The Shag Community by showing that they are in our thoughts and prayers during treatment and recovery.

For that reason, a support group has been formed named "Friends Helping Friends" to make contact with our Shag friends by cards, emails, phone calls or personal visits to show our love and concern.

We invite each of you to join our cause. No requests for donations will be made. It cost nothing to join.  Just a sincere empathy for your fellow Shaggers.

To help share news about members of our community who need the support of others, a blog has been opened. The blog will allow you to posts news that can be easily accessed by all. The blog address is strandersblog.blogspot.com. Please check out the blog and become familiar with its controls. Check it often for news and updates in the lives of others.
