ACSC MEMBER CLUB PARTY INFORMATION UPDATES Keeping up-to-date information about ACSC member clubs & their events posted on this website is one of the key goals of both the ACSC & SOS. To this end, the help of representatives from each member club is vital. Below are the directions for submitting your ACSC member club party dates for advertisement on Shagdance.com. ONLY members of the Association of Carolina Shag clubs can post information on the party page. All others need not submit information. The best way to get your party posted quickly & correctly is to send me the information in a regular email. Please use the format below when sending in party dates to be posted on shagdance.com. Arranging the information in this format will help ensure that all of the data that a guest would need is provided as well make sure that the website has a neat appearance. Submissions to the club parties page that are not formatted in this manner will be edited to fit the format. To use this format merely copy the text of the party update format below (in red & blue text) & paste it into an email message or text document. Then, replace the red text in capital letters with the information for your event. Please do not change the order of the items in blue. If one of these items does not apply to your party delete it from your party update. Once you are ready to have it posted email it by clicking here. Please make sure that the date field at the beginning is changed to your party date. If you choose to use the web address option for your update, please copy the exact web address from the address bar in your web browser (Internet explorer) for the page that has information about your party and paste it into your update. Please use this option only if you have a flyer or page with more information about your event already posted on you club website. The information can be either sent in as an attachment to an email or it can be typed directly into the body of the email. Party Update Format Example: If you do not have email you can download the party update form below to fill out & mail in using snail mail (the US postal Service). This form is provided below in two formats. The first link will let you download a text document. It can be filled out & emailed to the SOS webmaster by clicking here or printed & snail mailed. The second link will let you download an Adobe pdf document. It can be opened & printed using Adobe Reader, but must be mailed using the US postal Service. This document will allow you to fill in the information on the computer. However, the document will not allow you to save and email this form unless you have a purchased version of Adobe Acrobat..
